Chief Keef Sentenced to 20 Days in Jail After Testing Positive for Marijuana
Published Oct 15, 2013The joyous, party hat emojis suggested by Chief Keef on his new song "Emojis" have quickly transformed to a sad face, as the legally troubled Chicago rapper is headed back to prison.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the 18-year-old rapper born Keith Cozart was sentenced today (October 15) to 20 days in a Cook County, Illinois jail for violating parole by testing positive to marijuana.
Cozart has had to go through random drug tests after pleading guilty to a speeding ticket earlier this year. The ticket resulted in a $531 and 18 months of probation.
Cozart's next court date is October 21. If he fails to appear, there could be a warrant for his arrest.
