Charli XCX had been planning to come to North America on a tour in late summer and early fall, but the British pop singer's fans will need to be patient, since she's delayed the dates in order to tour the UK as Paramore's opening act.
Charli began delaying shows a few days ago, but we initially didn't know why. In a post on Facebook, she's now apologized to fans and enthused about the opportunity to open for Paramore. She wrote, "I always feel so welcome in the USA and all of you guys have always been so cool and amazing to play too... So I am really so sad that I'm letting you down like this. But this is a big opportunity for me, one that people around me won't let me decline."
The Canadian cities affected are Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. Makeup dates are apparently in the works for later in the year, but nothing has yet been confirmed. See her schedule, as it currently stands, below.
