If you were looking forward to getting a rare glimpse of Britpop vets the Charlatans, bad news: the band have cancelled their entire North American tour. Apparently, the dates have been canned due to drummer Jon Brookes needing to get shoulder surgery, with no rescheduled dates in sight, Brooklyn Vegan reports.
As previously reported, the tour was to kick off in San Diego, CA on September 17 and eventually make its way to Canada for dates in London, ON (September 22), Toronto (September 23) and Montreal (September 24). The live stops were in support of the group's tenth studio album, You Cross My Path, which was released as a free digital download in 2008.
Full refunds for all the cancelled tour dates, which you can check out here, will be offered.
