Following the release of their North American debut Topp stemning på lokal bar, Norway electro-pop sensations Casiokids are gearing up for their debut North American tour. For a band whose "only long-lasting side effects are a perma-grin and an undying urge to jump around like a kid again," this is exciting news indeed.
The tour kicks off in San Francisco on August 18, and continues up the West coast for a show in Vancouver. After that, the band will head east and make a second Canadian stop in Toronto. The whole tour concludes in Los Angeles on October 8. According to a press release, the band know how to "put on a theatrical live show - incorporating a blend of shadow puppets, video projections and animal costumes."
Prior to the North American tour, Casiokids will release a digital single for "En Vill Hest" on August 10 via Polyvinyl. In addition to the track, the release will come with remixes from diskJokke and Prins Thomas, as well as a music video.
