Toronto-based synthesising crew the Cansecos have unveiled a remixed version of their forthcoming album. Juiced! is a loud and proud disco-fied adaptation of their forthcoming second album, Juices!, which according to band member/Upper Class Recordings owner Gareth Jones, will arrive in time "to send a shive right up the arse of everyone's Christmas campaigns." In true disco fashion, the band have split the album into two sides, both of which can be downloaded from their website or listened to by clicking on Side A and Side B.

In other related news, the Cansecos will join the Russian Futurists and Cadence Weapon for the "Upper Class Summer Throwdown" at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre (in the Brigantine Room) this coming Saturday, July 7. Part of Harbourfront's Beats, Breaks & Culture concert series, the free show gets under way at 10:30, and also features DJ sets from Cadence Weapon, DJ Weez-L and the Russian Futurists. The first 200 people to arrive receive a CD copy of the Cansecos’ Juiced!.
