Anyway Gang appear to have a new album in the works. The Canadian rock supergroup made up of Sloan's Chris Murphy, Hollerado's Menno Versteeg, Tokyo Police Club's Dave Monks and Sam Roberts have posted videos from the studio, showing that they are working on new material.

In the caption of a studio video posted yesterday evening (July 29), the group noted that they have "a whole bunch of new tunes" in the works. Another video shows them noodling around with the keyboard riff from Rush's "Tom Sawyer."

The videos don't contain any new music from the group, but we can presumably expect some soon. Anyway Gang released their self-titled album in 2019.

Monks has been releasing singles in advance of a new solo album called I've Always Wanted to Be Me, due out later this year. Versteeg released an album as Mav Karlo last year. Sloan will be take part in the star-studded "Saints and Sinners" tour this fall, and Sam Roberts Band will also hit the road.
