Tireless road warriors Cancer Bats are gearing up for yet another Canadian tour. While the band just wrapped up a run of gigs across North America with DevilDriver, the Toronto-based metal combo have announced another lengthy criss-cross to take place in May, when they will be joined by 3 Inches of Blood on almost the entire trek.
A press release for the group explains that this trip will find Cancer Bats as the top billed act. It will see them spreading their manic tunes across crowds in theatres and nightclubs, with Barn Burner and Waster also opening several of the shows. You can check out the full tour schedule below.
In other Cancer Bats news, the band's latest effort Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones was nominated for Rock Album of the Year for the 2011 Juno Awards. It's unclear whether the outfit will make it to the awards ceremony in their hometown on March 27, but it would be awesome to check out the tattooed longhairs mingling with the rest of the riff-raff on the red carpet.
