Camp Fortune

Four Tet x Bell Orchestre (remix)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 13, 2015

Nick Schofield has his fingerprints all over a number of recent musical projects like Saxsyndrum, Year of Glad and the collaborative album Rêves Sonores à Montréal (with Stefan Christoff), but his latest offering comes from under his Camp Fortune moniker, and Exclaim! has your first listen.

The project is simply described as "lo-fi electro remixes of Montreal bands," and the new track blends together pieces by local favourites Bell Orchestre ("Bucephalus Bouncing Ball"), as well as UK electronic producer Four Tet ("Parallel Jalebi").

Schofield first imagined the two tracks together on a "late stoned night in 2013," and after recently seeing Bell Orchestre live at Bar Le Ritz in Montreal, he figured it was time to unleash the remix.

You can see Schofield's upcoming live performances listed below, and keep scrolling to listen to Camp Fortune's glitched-out, percussion heavy reworking of the two tracks.
