Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival Reveals 2016 Lineup

Burnaby, BC's annual Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is set to return this summer, and festival organizers have unveiled the lineup for its 17th edition.

Taking place on August 6 at Deer Lake Park, a full day of music will see Colin James, Frazey Ford, and Cyril Neville and the Royal Southern Brotherhood top the bill this year.

Also scheduled to perform are Como Mamas, Lindi Ortega, Cecile Doo-Kingue, Shred Kelly, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Dawn Pemberton, Ben Rogers, Billy Dixon and Wes Mackie.

Festival tickets will go on sale Friday (April 22) at noon PDT. Earlybird single tickets cost $50, while a four-pack of tickets can be had for $150. Prices for single tickets and four-packs will increase to $60 and $200, respectively, come June 2, while day-of tickets will cost $75 at the gate.

Last year's edition of Burnaby Blues + Roots was highlighted by the Sheepdogs, Lee Fields & the Expressions and Ruthie Foster. Further information on the festival and ticketing options can be found here.
