Though a record store had a hand in leaking details behind his last 12-inch release, Burial has taken matters into his own hands in lifting the curtain on a new set of tunes in "Subtemple" / "Beachfires."
Following last year's "Young Death" / "Nightmarket," the latest release from the English producer is dark and spacious in scope, using very little of his signature drum programming.
"Subtemple" / "Beachfires" is set to arrive as a 10-inch on May 26 through Hyperdub, and while it's sold out online, Burial's Bandcamp page says your favourite record store should have it soon. Some retail listings point to the record arriving next week.
