Today would have marked the 52nd birthday of late Broadcast singer Trish Keenan, and in honour of the occasion, bandmate James Cargill has dug into the group's archives to share a previously unreleased track.

The song is called "Where Are You?" and it's a 4-track demo that was recorded in 2002. As you'll hear, it's a strikingly imitate track, with little more than Keenan's breathy vocals and some guitar filling the space.

You can hear "Where Are You? below.

This isn't the first time Cargill has shared previously unreleased Broadcast material on Keenan's birthday. On her birthday in 2017, for example, he shared the song "Tunnel View," and he typically puts one out each year for her on this day.

In 2011, Keenan passed away at 42 after being admitted to hospital due to complications with pneumonia after contracting what was believed to be bird flu.
