Following the release of their critically acclaimed Native Speaker LP, eclectic Montreal-based pop combo Braids are offering up another tune this year via a new split seven-inch with Edmonton's Purity Ring.
Braids will premiere the new track "Peach Wedding" on one side of the vinyl platter, while the blissed-out electro-heads Purity Ring deliver the haunting "Belispeak" on the flip. The vinyl release will be accompanied with a download code for both songs, and you can hear the icy snap beats and chopped-up vocal samples of Purity Ring's contribution here.
Fat Possum is printing up the limited-edition single, but for now it looks as if you can only snag a copy at the merch table while the bands are on tour. We've known about Braids' itinerary for a while now, but you can peep Purity Ring's equally lengthy tour schedule, which includes dates with Neon Indian and Yacht, below.
