Like death or taxes, another constant in life is that whenever there's a massive global movement, Bono will be there to deliver some clumsy prose. Following his two coronavirus songs, the U2 frontman has shared a new version of the band's "Beautiful Day" to support the Black Lives Matter uprising around the world.

"As an Irishman, I've always believed that America is not just a country, it's an idea, it's a dream that belongs to the whole world," Bono said in a new video that was delivered as part of YouTube's "Class of 2020" series. "Now I know in recent times the world has been reminded that America is an idea that doesn't even belong to a lot of Americans, and that for many Black Americans, Lady Liberty's torch is far from a beacon of hope, it's often a flashlight in the face."

If you could stomach that, there's also a video of celebs singing U2's All That You Can't Leave Behind hit. The new version of the song was produced by Billie Eilish's brother FINNEAS and features vocals from Coldplay's Chris Martin, Camila Cabello, Ty Dolla $ign, Khalid, Leon Bridges, Noah Cyrus and Ben Platt, among others.
