Despite calling Toronto home, Blue Sky Miners describe their sound as "Rocky Mountain desert rock" — and their latest video is sure to transport you to a place outside the busy urban bustle of city life. The band have teamed up with fellow musicians Ferraro, the Old Salts and Torero for a cover version of Gillian Welch's "Look at Miss Ohio," and Exclaim! has got the exclusive first look at the new accompanying visuals.

The four bands come together to deliver a lush, soulful and heartwarming rendition of the twangy, melancholic modern folk classic. The performance clip was recorded at the Cameron House by Brian Hamilton, and the groups will reconvene to play a show at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on October 23. That show will also mark the release of Blue Sky Miners' debut self-titled EP.

"Too often in the music world you take a gig and meet the bands on the night of the show for the first time at soundcheck," Blue Sky Miners said in a band statement. "There is no better way to get to know another band then to jam with them. We are so excited for this lineup and wanted to get everyone in a room to just hang out and play some music."

You can watch them do just that in the video below and be sure to catch them live later this week when they take the stage together once again.
