Not to be confused with Grimes producer Blood Diamonds, Halifax rock band Bloody Diamonds have rolled out a new song called "Nightmare."
This song comes just in time for Halloween, and it also fits the band's self-description as a blues rock band with a "modern, gothic twist." The sinister track pairs Sara Elizabeth's dramatic vibrato with Jake Seaward's swaggering guitar crunch, and the slinky arrangement rises to dramatic crescendos during the choruses.
It was produced by Andrew Wiseman, who also played drums. Scroll past the band's upcoming tour schedule to listen.
