Blink-182 Detail 'California' Deluxe Edition, Share "Parking Lot" Lyric Video

Just yesterday (March 15), we saw a supposed leaked tracklisting of new songs from the deluxe version of Blink-182's California. Perhaps that was a catalyst for the band, who have officially announced the expanded edition of their comeback LP.

The bonus version of the album will include 10 new songs, the rarity "Hey I'm Sorry" and an acoustic version of "Bored to Death." Fortunately, the ridiculously titled "Can't Get You More Pregnant" made the cut. And, perhaps even better, the Steve Aoki collaboration "Why Are We So Broken" is not on the list.

The band announced the album with a funny and uncharacteristically epic statement: "This is it. This is the one. The rumored album uttered only in whispered tones, until now. And just as the ancient prophecies foretold, the Blink-182 California deluxe edition will arrive to save mankind."

Blink-182 will issue the deluxe edition of California on May 19 via BMG. The release features the entire original album, along with the new tracks. You can pre-order it on a variety of formats and from a variety of services here.

Perhaps best of all, the band have shared a lyric video for the new song "Parking Lot." It's a classic pop-punk earworm complete with hammer-on guitars and singalongs about life in suburbia. Watch the video below.
