Dudes who like to put on weirdo hobbit noses and frolic around while listening to some of the best symphonic metal of our era are stoked: Blind Guardian have announced they're returning to North America, and the touring will include Canadian gigs.
The pioneering German melodic metal band will be hitting up North America on their modestly named "Sacred Worlds and Songs Divine 2010 World Tour." The run of shows begins on November 19 in Philadelphia, PA and ends on December 22 in West Springfield, VA. Opening for Blind Guardian will be California retro thrashers Holy Grail and Florida power metallers Seven Kingdoms.
The tour will find the band playing Canadian cities Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton. The band will also make a headlining appearance at the second Florida Power Fest, which is being held on December 18 in St. Petersburg, FL. Full dates are below.
