"Lloyd Needs Meds"

Rocking "doom pop" outfit Black Black Black are gearing up to release their sophomore record Altered States of Death and Grace later next week, and before the album arrives, Exclaim! has your first taste of what to expect from the Brooklyn crew with "Lloyd Needs Meds."

Propelled by a lumbering guitar riff and heavily layered and sludgy chorus sections, the track perfectly identifies with the band's self-identified "psyched-out desert rock meets big-city darkness" feel, hazily posing the questions like "Why study Satanism if you were born Satanic?" and "Why would you read Leary if you could just eat LSD?" "Lloyd Needs Meds" caters to both of these sentiments.

Altered States of Death and Grace is set to arrive on March 25 through Aqualamb Records. Take a listen to "Lloyd Needs Meds" in the player below.
