Björk is currently touring her 2017 album Utopia in Mexico with new live show "Cornucopia," and the Icelandic artist has now announced the aforementioned album will be given a deluxe box set reissue.

Going above and beyond your favourite artist's "deluxe" releases, Björk has included 14 handmade birdcall flutes in the new set. Created in collaboration with Quelle est Belle, the album and bird calls arrive in a bespoke perspex case with hand-etched lid.

All 14 bird calls are kept in individual compartments inside the box. The album will arrive on a custom-made USB-c flash drive, alongside videos, images and an exclusive instrumental track. The box also features an eight-page colour booklet with instructions for each bird call, housed in a discrete drawer.

"Utopia is so much about birdsong and sonically the mutation between synth/bird, bird/flute, flute/synth ....... air like that was a theme through all of the album," Björk wrote in a statement. "So i got very excited when i found these handmade wooden flutes imitating precisely particular birds . and i guess wanted you guys to have an opportunity to share that with me."

Of course, the elaborate set comes with a price: £500, to be exact. It arrives November 1, and you can pre-order it here. Björk recently shared a new video for "Losss."
