The members of the Birth Defects have been attached to projects like Thee Oh Sees and Bleached, and now they're prepping an album for Wavves leader Nathan Williams' label Ghost Ramp. First 8 Mistakes will be out in April, and a video for the track "Party Suicide" can be seen now.
The song is a full-throttle garage-punk smasher, its pummelling surge filled with growling tributes to drinking and doing drugs. Not much happens over the course of the minute-and-a-half-long video, but we see get a very frantic portrait of Birth Defects' energy thanks to some extremely fast editing and ferocious head banging.
