Billy Corgan is currently on tour with his new solo project, Billy Corgan and the Machines of God, celebrating some big anniversaries within the Smashing Pumpkins' catalogue — including Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness turning 30 and Machina turning 25. Corgan and co. played a show at Toronto's History last Thursday (June 12), and while he was in town, he paid a visit to the Kops Records location on Danforth Avenue.
The record store shared on Instagram that Corgan had stopped by ahead of his performance to do a little crate digging, writing, "When we say Kops Danforth has tons of treasures[,] we don't always mean @billycorgan himself, but today we did!"
While true Pumpkins heads may know that the frontman is huge into wrestling, he's also becoming a prolific fan of Toronto record shops, having previously checked out the selection at the now-defunct Shortstack Records while on tour with the band in 2022.
