As we all know by now, endlessly lovable comedy kingpin Bill Murray has assembled a small army of indie celebs for the forthcoming Netflix special A Very Murray Christmas. Among them is Parisian rock act Phoenix, and their team-up doesn't end there. Instead, the two parties have also come together to record a new Christmas 7-inch.

The record features a new song called "Alone on Christmas Day" as performed by Murray and Phoenix alongside Jason Schwartzman, Paul Shaffer and Buster Poindexter. You'll find the artwork for the release above.
The Sofia Coppola-directed A Very Murray Christmas has also been teased with a new trailer that features cameos from Amy Poehler, George Clooney, Rashida Jones, Miley Cyrus, Michael Cera, Chris Rock and others.
