After recently signing to Arts & Crafts, Toronto songwriter Robin Dann's Bernice project has announced its debut for the label. Called Puff, the EP will arrive on Arts & Crafts on June 16.

The mini-effort was recorded at Breakglass studios in Montreal with engineer Matt Smith before the songs were handed over to producer Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes) in L.A. Puff features five tracks, with a press release promising 11 new songs to eventually be released by Bernice in 2017.

For a taste of Puff, you can listen to the new teaser track "Talking About Her" below the EP's tracklist.

In a statement, Dann said the song is about "friends talking about friends, talking about friends. And why we all do it and why we can't help it. And how it's sometimes hurtful, but ultimately, probably, ok, and how, really, we just love each other."
