Beneath the Massacre Announce North American Tour with Rings of Saturn, Legion and Rivers of Nihil

A year and a half on from the release of Beneath the Massacre's "brutal, technical and overtly complicated" Incongruous LP, the Montreal-based death metal unit have announced a quickie North American trek to support it.

A press release notes that these will be the band's first U.S. tour dates in four years, though the trip kicks off with a hometown gig at Montreal's Underworld on October 3. Joining Beneath the Massacre on all dates will be Bay Area band Rings of Saturn, Ohio's Legion and Pennsylvania death metal troupe Rivers of Nihil. You can see the full tour schedule down below.

Of the band's now relaxed touring schedule, vocalist Elliot Desgagnés had previously explained to Exclaim!: "We used to tour like 200 days a year and now we're taking more time in the studio, which is also our practice room. We spend more time with the material, with the music and with the art, rather than just writing a new album for whoever and then start touring, promote the old album while writing the new album and then releasing that album, that whole spiral thing."
