Beefs 2013: Azealia Banks Blames Pharrell Williams for "ATM Jam" Performing Poorly

Harlem rapper Azealia Banks has once again tweeted out some fightin' words, this time directing her rage at "ATM Jam" collaborator Pharrell Williams over apparently distancing himself from the single.

This morning (November 12), Banks threw down the gauntlets over a series of tweets, first writing, "The reason ATM jam did poorly is because pharell changed his mind about wanting to be associated with me after he had his lite skin comeback."

The rapper could be taking aim at Williams's success providing vocals for Daft Punk's Random Access Memories hits "Get Lucky" and "Lose Yourself to Dance," or perhaps his equally massive appearance on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines." It should be noted, as you'll see down below, that Williams did not appear in the video for "ATM Jam," which apparently did not sit well with Banks at all.

"Lite skin niggas are funny," Banks continued, adding, "But fuck it what's new? Azealia banks having to scrape claw and fight for what she wants. This is normal for me now."

Banks's debut LP Broke With Expensive Taste has been in the making for over a year and a half, and has faced more than a few delays. It's currently set to be released sometime in 2014, but Banks has said that it will not include "ATM Jam."
