Summer festival season is just around the corner, and it looks as if stages will be sizzling out on Vancouver Island, as the Rock the Woods has let loose the lineup to its annual outdoor event.

This year, the Cowichan Valley festival, which runs July 25 to 27, will feature a diverse lineup, headlined by rapper Bubba Sparxxx and Vancouver rawk duo the Pack A.D.

Spread out throughout the rest of the three-day festival, which a press release notes is held on "the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Hui'qumin'num peoples," will be performances from the likes of Wake Owl, Robert Delong, Vince Vaccaro, Humans, the Donkeys, Flymoon Royalty, Brent Amaker and the Rodeo, Rolla Olak and more.

"As always, we wanted to showcase the best of the best, whether they are bands that have played intimate shows in the Cowichan Valley or packed venues at South by Southwest," Rock of the Woods director David Bain said in a statement about this year's lineup.

Early bird tickets and passes have already sold out, but a three-day pass with camping privileges is currently going for the asking price of $165. Without the camping pass, the concert-only pass for the full fest is $125. You can also buy single day tickets, and the price breakdown for those can be seen here.
