Out-there rock unit Battles are in the middle of delivering a handful of remix twelve-inches reworking tunes from last year's Gloss Drop, but the band have now announced they'll be issuing the songs in one convenient package.
The scrip-flipping Dross Glop collection will come out on CD and as a digital download April 17 through Warp. As per vinyl volumes one and two, the set features versions of Gloss Drop tunes as interpreted by the likes of the Field, Guy Boratto and Shabazz Palaces. But some remixes to look forward to in the near future are handled by Gang Gang Dance's Brian Degraw, Hudson Mohawke and former LCD Soundsystem drummer Patrick Mahoney. The CD will include also an exclusive remix of "Sundome" from Boredoms' Yamantaka Eye.
