BamBoo

"Chances" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 14, 2016

Toronto indie rock unit BamBoo released their debut full-length Chances back in the fall, but they've just given the title track a brand new video.

The clip was a total DIY affair for the band, with Marcus Retterath taking on the role of director and editor, while Nick Collet pitched in to help Retterath design, build and execute the lighting rig. Filming was handled Steve Benjamins, assisted by Mike Schmidt, and took place at the Rehearsal Factory in downtown Toronto.

The result of the band's collaborative effort captures them in their main element — performing live. Doused in colourful lighting, they rip through the melodic pop-rock jam.

If you like what you see in the video, be sure to catch BamBoo when they take the stage in their hometown at the Horseshoe Tavern on April 16. Get pumped for the upcoming performance by watching the video for "Chances" in the player below.
