Bahamas Announces Cross-Canada Headlining Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 28, 2010

Since releasing his debut LP Pink Strat last summer, Toronto-based folkie Bahamas (aka Afie Jurvanen) has accomplished a lot: he teamed up with Zeus and Jason Collett for the Bonfire Ball tour, scored a place on the Polaris Music Prize long list and earned a Juno nomination. Now, he can add a coast-to-coast Canadian headlining tour to the list.

The tour will last for a month and will run from early November to early December. It will take Bahamas all the way across the country, starting with shows in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland before heading west all the way to Vancouver.

Before the Canadian outing begins, Bahamas will support Sarah Harmer on a handful of West coast U.S. dates. See the full schedule below.
