Toronto-based musician Bahamas (aka Afie Jurvanen) released his sophomore record Barchords earlier this year, but now you can take a more intimate look at the singer's life in a new short film titled Sunday Dinner.
Originally intended as an interview with the singer, the clip turns into a much more personal affair when the crew arrives at Jurvanen's family home in northern Ontario. A statement released with the video explains, "The interview wasn't much of a success. Instead they watched him and his mother cook and eat all day, light whole trees on fire, and speak a whole lot of Finnish."
It's an intriguing look into his non-musical persona and you can watch as he hangs out with his family, makes candle holders out of ice and plays a little bit of music.
It was directed and edited by Scott Kaija and Ryan Gassi. Watch Sunday Dinner featuring Bahamas below.
