Afie Jurvanen is gearing up for his latest album as Bahamas, the factually titled Bahamas Is Afie, and we can tide ourselves over until the record's August 19 release on Brushfire/Universal with a new music video.
"Stronger Than That" is a easygoing, smoothly grooving soul-pop number with harmonized hooks, twangy six-string leads and brass accents. The comedic accompanying clip offers a very literal spin on the song title by focusing on a strength competition. Jurvanen plays a television journalist, and he dons a dorky polo shirt ensemble while getting acquainted with some beefy, muscular dudes and talking about their "pronounced packages."
