Following last year's excellent Sour Soul collaboration with Ghostface Killah, Toronto jazz and funk all-stars BADBADNOTGOOD have announced their next proper album release. Their fourth studio full-length has been given the most appropriate title of IV, and it hits digital and physical retailers July 8 via Innovative Leisure in the U.S. and Arts & Crafts in Canada.
The new collection was announced today (May 17), with the group premiering new tune "Time Moves Slow" on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 program. The track, which you can stream down below, features guest vocals from Future Islands frontman Samuel Herring.
In addition to the core membership of BADBADNOTGOOD, IV also features guest performances from the likes of regular collaborator Kaytranada, saxman Colin Stetson, Mick Jenkins and Charlotte Day Wilson.
While Sour Soul was delivered in 2015, IV is the first proper BADBADNOTGOOD album since 2014 breakthrough III. You'll find all the details on the upcoming set's tracklist, as well as the band's summer show schedule, down below.
