Bad Religion Are Recording "an Album's Worth of 'Fuck Trump' Songs"

Last month, Bad Religion returned with a timely new single titled "The Kids Are Alt-Right," keeping firmly in line with their political punk leanings. Unsurprisingly, the group's forthcoming full-length is said to to take the same approach.

Speaking with LA Weekly, guitarist Brett Gurewitz revealed the band are set to record the follow-up to 2013's True North "this fall or late summer," adding, "we should have an album's worth of 'Fuck Trump' songs pretty soon. It's exactly what we need."

Bad Religion's forthcoming 17th album will mark their first studio effort with guitarist Mike Dimkich and drummer Jamie Miller. They replace guitarist Greg Hetson and drummer Brooks Wackerman, who left the band in April 2013 and October 2015, respectively.

Bad Religion last released their Christmas Songs compilation in 2013. Frontman Greg Graffin delivered solo LP Millport last year.
