Backxwash has released her highly anticipated new album I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses, and the Montreal-based artist has announced plans to treat the effort to a physical release.
Alongside the album's arrival yesterday (June 20), Backxwash launched a campaign through Bandcamp to give the 10-track I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses a vinyl pressing.
The campaign goal was met — and promptly exceeded — shortly after its launch, with further funds going towards more merch "including but not limited to: cassettes, CDs, posters, wearables, and an adorably terrifying plushie."
The first vinyl pressing of I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses is available to pre-order through Bandcamp.
As previously reported, the album features Sad13, Nowhere2Run (a.k.a. Code Orange members Eric "Shade" Balderose and Jami Morgan), clipping., former Black Dresses member Ada Rook and more.
I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses follows Backxwash's Polaris Music Prize-winning LP God Has Nothing to Do with This Leave Him Out of It, which Exclaim! named the best album of 2020.
