Following a few ethereal previews, Babe Rainbow has offered up a full stream of his eighty-eights-indebted instrumental offering, Music for 1 Piano, 2 Pianos, & More Pianos.
As can be expected with a title like that, the 12-song set has Cameron Reed flexing his keyboard-fingering skills en masse. Included are ambient offerings like "A Drunk Man's Lament," a sort of Bruce Hornsby-lite passage as bittersweet as a chilled Prosecco sipped in solitude from within an under-lit bachelor pad, and "Flock (Meditation)," a reflective piece placing the elegiac echo of piano just beneath the chatter of feathered friends.
It's an extremely relaxed outing, and you can hear the results down below.
Music for 1 Piano, 2 Pianos, & More Pianos arrives on cassette September 27 through 1080p as part of Cassette Store Day.
