B.A. Johnston Reissues 'My Heart Is a Blinking Nintendo,' Hints at New 'Shit Sucks' LP

Hamilton, ON musician and all-around hilarious dude B.A. Johnston impressed with last year's Exclaim!-approved Mission Accomplished, but he'll be celebrating some of his older work this fall and releasing new material come the new year.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of My Heart Is a Blinking Nintendo, the album has been given the reissue treatment on vinyl and cassette. It's available on vinyl for the first time via Mammoth Cave, while 100 limited edition orange cassette tapes will be released through Blacktop on November 11.

Johnston will be supporting the releases with a string of shows in Ontario and Quebec this fall, which you can see below.

In addition to the reissues, Johnston has his sights set on a new record due out early next year, which "will probably be called Shit Sucks," according to a statement on his website. It's expected to arrive in late February and another round of tour dates will be announced in conjunction with the record.

For now, though, relive the glory of My Heart Is a Blinking Nintendo below.
