Axl Rose Fires and Rehires Manager Three Times in a Month, Won't Come out of His House

Axl Rose may be a layabout when it comes to promotion but Mr. Gun N' Roses' seems to be quite the man of action when it comes to his management. Apparently, Rose has fired and rehired his manager Irving Azoff a minimum of three times in the last five weeks, showing the singer's mood swings are still as wild as ever.

According to the New York Daily News [via the Daily Swarm], the eccentric rocker has been fending off Azoff's pleas to get out there and try to revive the sales of the band's latest album, Chinese Democracy. "Axl doesn't want anything to do with it," an insider close to the situation said. "He won't come out of his house."

The source goes on to explain that "Axl is Axl. People get hired and fired all the time in this business."

However, Azoff is supposedly still under Rose's employment as of last week, and again the pair are negotiating a second push for Guns N' Roses' poorly performing album. "We're in daily contact with Axl, and we look forward to continuing to support him and Guns N' Roses," said the source.

No word of what Rose is actually up to in his fortress of solitude.
