Last year, we learned that punk legend Art Bergmann had signed with Porterhouse Records for a new album called Late Stage Empire Dementia. Today, we get our first taste of the release via a brand new music video.
The song is called "Christo Fascists" and sees Bergmann join forces with famed MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer. If its title didn't clue you in enough, the music video most certainly will — this song is about the rise of fascism in America, particularly focused on the disastrous foibles of Donald Trump.
The video for the song was directed by Thor Henrikson and pairs performance footage of Bergmann with heavily edited animations and footage from Trump rallies.
"The linking of Evangelical churches with the power of the state is a kind of Fascism which has to be destroyed," Bergmann said of the single in a new statement.

Late Stage Empire Dementia is expected to arrive in early 2021.
