Ariana Grande has been in the spotlight for most of her life — from her start as a Disney Channel child actor to last night's (February 10) Grammy win — but apparently she's been in the headlines for even longer than we thought. An amazing newspaper article from when the singer was five years old resurfaced over the weekend, detailing her unlucky (or lucky?) history with the Florida Panthers.

The youngster — who grew up in Boca Raton, FL — apparently started going to Panthers games when she was just two years old, but in a few short years, she'd already managed to get hit by an out-of-bounds puck — twice.

After getting hit in the wrist by a shot from Gord Murphy, she was struck again by a wild puck from a Tampa Bay Lightning player. The latter marked the first occasion of a fan getting hit in the Panthers' new (at the time) arena.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries either time, but the team did bring her out to ride the Zamboni during intermission. The paper described her as "waving at fans like a queen taking a horse and carriage ride."

Grande herself has been enjoying the resurgence of the article (accompanied by an excellent photo of said Zamboni ride), joking on Twitter, "This is still exactly what I look like without my lashes and pony… the only difference now is that hand now says bbq grill finger."

See some of Grande's own hilarious responses to the article below.
