Grande delivered another solid rendition of "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," but she has drawn criticism on Twitter for wearing a short black dress while performing from the altar of the Greater Grace Temple.
While some were quick to defend Grande and put the onus on "perverted minds" (rather than the person wearing so-called inappropriate attire), others were a lot less diplomatic about the choice of clothing.
If Ariana Grande's dress makes anyone uncomfortable, I'd suggest you check that demon within yourself and not blame that young lady for YOUR perverted mind and or the perverted minds of others whom for whatever complicit reason you choose not to check instead.#ArethaHomegoing pic.twitter.com/b0TBnWHloS

Ariana Grande's dress was not inappropriate or that short. Y'all just love to sexualize attractive women.

I understand that y'all are mad about her dress and all. But understand, @ArianaGrande was one of Aretha's favorite younger gen vocalists. The service is about honoring the Queen and she did just that. Stuck to her part and sang the hell outta A Natural Woman. Let that hurt go...

the pastor said she sounded like a Taco Bell menu item

Like, I get it, you're Ariana Grande but you're at the FUNERAL FOR THE QUEEN. HAVE SOME CLASS. You know every auntie in there is ready to tell her that her hair is longer than her damn dress. #ArethaHomegoing pic.twitter.com/ima45NwC3m

Good to see Ariana Grande wore a cocktail dress to a funeral. She must have kept her long dresses at home. Next to all of the Aretha albums she doesn't own.
