British press darlings Arctic Monkeys released their album AM a few months ago, and as they go about promoting it with a North American tour, a non-LP outtake has hit the web.
"You're So Dark" is consistent with the atmospherically soul-tinged sound of AM, as the band forgo the gritty guitars of old for a slinky groove with nocturnally reverb-kissed production, literary references, and a few raunchily sex-upped lyrics.
This song is the B-side to Arctic Monkeys' new single "One for the Road," which comes out on 7-inch through Domino on December 10.
