Arctic Monkeys have said that their new album, AM, was inspired by hip-hop, and now they've showcased their love of the genre by covering Drake for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.
The British lads covered "Hold On, We're Going Home" from Drizzy's upcoming album Nothing Was the Same. They don't stray too far from the source material, even imitating the drum fills and backing vocals, although the guitar-centric disco-rock pulse ends up sounding more like Franz Ferdinand that Drake.
