Antony Hegarty has unveiled a new electronic project called ANOHNI, and has roped in some impressive co-producers for a forthcoming album.
Titled HOPELESSNESS, the new LP marks Hegarty's his first proper full-length since 2010's Antony & the Johnsons offering Swanlights. While an official release date hasn't been revealed, Hegarty did announce that the new record was co-produced by himself, Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke.
According to the album's announcement via Facebook, "It's an electronic record with some sharp teeth." The album artwork (pictured above) was shared along with news of the new project.
Hegarty most recently collaborated on a track with Yoko Ono, in celebration of the singer's 82nd birthday. You can hear the collaborative "I Love You, Earth" below.
