Antipop Consortium's Beans Ropes in Four Tet, Tobacco, Tunde Adebimpe for New Anticon Album

On-again, off-again weirdo rappers Antipop Consortium quietly released their latest album, Fluorescent Black, in late 2009. Proving that he can't sit still for long, breakout Antipop rapper Beans has now signed with venerable underground rap label Anticon for his fourth solo release.

The record is called End It All and sees Beans working exclusively with outside producers. While that likely means a departure, he's assembled an incredible cast of contributors that includes Four Tet, Tobacco, Nobody, Interpol's Samuel Fogarino and Tortoise's rhythm section, performing as Bumps. TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe also stops by for some guest vocals.

A press release suggests that End It All "finds the MC pushing his distinct staccato rhyme-style to new heights across a varied but fluid build-up of beats." The record also serves as "proof that Beans is as versatile as he is a true original, making him more dangerous than ever."

No tracklisting was given for End It All, but the album is said to feature 13 new tracks and will be released on February 15.
