He makes up one half of the brother-sister duo Angus & Julia Stone, but this year, Angus Stone will be going solo with the album Broken Brights. With the album slated to drop in July via Nettwerk Records, he's now sharing the single "Bird on the Buffalo."
This dusty folk number finds the Aussie songwriter crooning along to a graceful folk arrangement that consists of a straightforward beat, acoustic strumming, and some overdriven leads. A press release explains, "While on the road in Europe, Stone sat in a hotel room, musing on the symbiotic relationships between the bird and the buffalo, the co-operative behaviour between two very different species, working together for mutual survival."
