Angel Olsen is packaging up her works for a newly announced box set. Titled Song of the Lark and Other Far Memories, the set is due out May 7 via Jagjaguwar.
The collection finds Olsen putting together her albums All Mirrors (2019) and Whole New Mess (2020), in addition to a bonus LP called Far Memory and a 40-page book.
"Originally conceived as a double album, All Mirrors and Whole New Mess were distinct parts of a larger whole, twin stars that each expressed something bigger and bolder than Angel Olsen had ever made," a press release explains. "Now, with Song of the Lark and Other Far Memories, these twin stars become a constellation with the full extent of the songs' iterations: all the alternate takes, b-sides, remixes and reimaginings are here, together."

Other tracks included on the Far Memory bonus LP include remixes by Johnny Jewel and Mark Ronson, as well as Olsen doing a cover of Roxy Music's classic "More Than This."
In a statement about the box set, Olsen said, "It feels like part of my writing has come back from the past, and another part of it was waiting to exist."
