Amy Winehouse Hints at "S-up-er g r o u p" with the Roots' Questlove; Run-DMC Reuniting for the Roots Picnic?

It's hard to tell what news is reliable and what isn't these days. Just ask Gordon Lightfoot. It's even harder when that news is coming from the Twitter account of drugged-up London chanteuse Amy Winehouse.

But yesterday (March 1), Winehouse tweeted something that piqued our interest: "me an quest, sittin in a tree, makin a s-up-er g r o u p."

This might have been dismissed as the false ramblings of Winehouse, had Questlove, iconic drummer of late-night hip-hoppers the Roots not then re-tweeted the post, seemingly verifying Winehouse's words.

So, are Winehouse and Questo in a supergroup then? And if so, who else is in it? Does this explain the continual pushing-back of How I Got Over?

In related news, the Roots have just announced via a "twitvid" that the 2010 edition of the band's annual festival, the Roots Picnic, will feature Vampire Weekend, Mayer Hawthorne and the Clipse, among others. More importantly, the Picnic will follow in the tradition of last year's show, when the Roots performed the entirety of It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back with Public Enemy.

Who are they reuniting this year? According to the video below, it would seem that it's some incarnation of RUN DMC. That's right. Get excited, folks.
