Among Legends' latest track is lined up to appear on a new compilation record titled Coveted, but before the full album lands, Exclaim! is giving you the exclusive first listen to the Waterloo, ON-based pop-punks' contribution.
Coveted features a series of songs written by Raleigh rockers American Goner, interpreted and performed by a bunch of other bands.
"There was an abundance of songs (30 in all) to choose from and we thought it would be kind of fun to ask friends of ours that play music, either in a band or solo to cover songs that they had never heard," American Goner's KM North said in a statement. "We sent them the lyrics and gave them carte blanche to do whatever they chose. The mix is exciting, from a simple folk song to a cappella to a rap song as well as pop-punk bands and hardcore bands doing songs. The compilation truly has something for everyone and that's what is so exciting about it."
