Gloomy hard rock vets Alice in Chains are already out on the road in support of their forthcoming The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here LP, but the band have now announced they'll also promote the record by headlining this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival.
A press release confirms that Alice in Chains are the top dogs on the fourth annual edition of the travelling festival, which runs August 9 to September 15. The bulk of the trip takes place in the U.S., but it will head to Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on August 20.
"I think it's going to be a fun tour and we're really looking forward to it. It's only going to happen that one time, that way, and you're going to be there," Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell said in the statement of the package tour.
On top of the headliners, the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival will feature sets from the likes of Jane's Addiction, Coheed and Cambria, Danko Jones, Circa Survive, Duff McKagan's Walking Papers, and more. You can see the tour schedule down below and the lineup here.
