Alexisonfire's Wade MacNeil, alongside collaborator Andrew Gordon Macpherson, have shared plans to release the electronic score for the Vice-produced pro wrestling documentary series, Dark Side of the Ring.

The original soundtrack arrives via Waxwork Records this July on 180-gram vinyl. The double-LP package comes in opaque pink/purple smoke and opaque blue/white smoke colours, and includes Nathan Boone liner photography. See the album art above.

According to a press release, the series "lifts the veil on professional wrestling's most controversial stories and subjects" and "ventures deep into wrestling's shrouded past, revealing the brutal and often tragic consequences of a life lived in the squared circle."

The series originally premiered in 2019. It is currently available to stream through on-demand services.
